Main Car Park P1 at Malta Airport in Luqa is the largest and most used car park option by passengers. The distance from the terminal building to the parking area is between 30 and 150 meters, depending on where you park your vehicle. Main Car Park P1 is well lit, under video surveillance, clearly signposted, open 24 hours, paved and gated. The whole parking area is not fenced. More than 700 parking spaces are available for passengers here. These are the approximate number of parking stalls we have counted. There are 10 parking spaces for people with disabilities in the P1 car park. These parking spaces are located close to the terminal building to the right and left of the ramp, are wide and appropriately marked with blue paint and the disabled logo on the asphalt. The luggage trolley station can be found in the middle area near the parking control center (control booth). You can use the luggage carts for your suitcases at any time. The parking control center is staffed 24 hours a day. You can contact them there if you have any questions or difficulties with parking. A small area where you can park mopeds and motorcycles can be found in the rear area next to the exit. This area is signposted with the large motorcycle logo. Parking bays are clearly marked everywhere and there is no maximum height restriction on entry. Pay machines can be found in the middle of the P1 car park. Important: The first 10 minutes of your stay is free. This is enough time to drop off your friends or relatives or get in the car. You don't necessarily have to drive directly to the terminal building to drop someone off. Outward flight: You drive directly to the airport in Luqa on the day of your departure. Take a parking ticket at the entrance. This ticket is the only valid document for exit. Park your vehicle in a free parking lot.

Return flight: After your return at Malta Airport and after paying the parking fee via the pay machine, you can exit the P1 car park. The pay machines are located in the middle of the parking lot near the central fountain.
